Rebecca Ascher

ABOUT

For almost 30 years, Rebecca Ascher’s work as an architect and interior designer in New York City has primarily focused on high-end residential design. Her career began as co-founder of Ascher Davis Architects, where she was a principal until 2021. Here she worked closely with co-principal Joshua Davis, and built an extensive network of clients and industry professionals. Most recently, Rebecca’s work has expanded to include institutional design, with clients across the northeast including Dartmouth College, her alma mater.

In 2021, Rebecca launched her own boutique firm, Bex Ink, LLC., where the designs of new homes, renovations, and interior decorating echo the work she has done for decades. Rebecca wears many hats – architect, interior designer, and decorator – and her ability to work fluently in all three disciplines is one of her greatest strengths, as these components are closely linked and require much coordination. At Bex Ink, the focus is always on a full understanding of the client’s program, budget, and design intentions.

Rebecca received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and her Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was salutatorian of her class. She is a member of the Design Leadership Network.
